Environmental Protection

Governments throughout Australia have Environmental Protection legislation, which must be adhered to by tertiary bodies. It is important to establish a good partnership with local environmental protection authorities, and to seek their help in clarifying environmental risk issues and responsibilities. Each state has their own Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Comprehensive Environmental Risk Assessment Methodology

The Comprehensive Environmental Risk Assessment Methodology (CERAM) is one of the most widespread risk assessment tools in Australia, and has been used by Universities and Councils alike. Training in this tool can be organised through ACTS, please see the About ACTS page.
